The summer has been wonderful, with long hot sunny days and balmy evenings, perfect for dining al fresco at home or out and about. With Calistros lying high on the valley slopes between two ports we enjoy a lovely breeze that takes the heat out of the sun. But be careful it does not lull you into a false sense of security; the sun will burn unless you take shade now and then and also wear good sun screen products.
Our clients seem to be enjoying themselves this year with the day starting well with a healthy breakfast fit for royalty, a rest or swim in the morning then siesta before venturing out in the late afternoon to the beach and then restaurants nearby. Our new factor 50 sun parasols which tilt to keep off sun as it drops in the sky are getting good use, so we are pleased to see clients sleeping outside in the afternoons.
